After backing out of its opening slot on the Verve's tour two weeks ago, original trip-hoppers Massive Attack have announced plans for its own month-long series of U.S. dates.

The Verve/Massive Attack double billing was expected to be one of the highlights of the summer tour season, but the Verve has been plagued with a series of personnel problems since the tour was announced (see [article id="1425032"]"Verve Guitarist Drops Out of Tour"[/article]).
