In a move that will make her the bride of Satan in the eyes of many, actress Rose McGowan announced on Tuesday that she plans to wed her boyfriend, Marilyn Manson.

On Tuesday afternoon, McGowan told MTV News that Manson had recently popped the question.

"I was in the bathtub, he lit candles, it was very nice. It was very romantic", McGowan told MTV News of Manson's proposal. A spokesperson for Manson confirmed the announcement, but noted that the two have not yet set a date.

It's funny because people think that we're becoming conventional, but I think it will actually give us more freedom to be crazy", McGowan told MTV News of her impending family life with the current king of shock rock.

with each other, the crazier we become individually, so I actually expect him to be ten times as crazy. McGowan first floated the news Tuesday morning during an appearance on Howard Stern's radio show, and explained the announcement later that day to our friends in the MTV Radio Network. Ironically, McGowan visited Stern's studio at New York's K-ROCK to plug her upcoming film "Jawbreaker," which also features a cameo by her soon-to-be husband.
