Marcy Playground To "Shapeshift" Through Fall Tour

The New York City trio Marcy Playground became one of the hottest new bands around after its unlikely "Sex And Candy" single held onto the top spot of the "Billboard" Modern Rock charts for over three months last year.

Now the group is hoping to reprise the success with a new single, "It's Saturday," the first track off its second album, "Shapeshifter," due in stores on November 2.

Marcy Playground completed the video for "It's Saturday" with director Peter Christopherson and plans to launch a month-long tour on November 2 in New York City in conjunction with the new album's release.
