Madonna Re-Teams With Orbit For New Track

Never one to gather moss, Madonna is currently in a New York recording studio with producer William Orbit, the man who helped the music icon crank out 1998's "Ray Of Light.

After "Ray Of Light," Madonna re-teamed with Orbit for "Beautiful Stranger" (the song she kicked in for the soundtrack to "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" ), and she's once again working with the producer on a song for a soundtrack.

This time out, Madonna and Orbit are working on a track for the singer's upcoming film, "The Next Best Thing." The movie, which will see Madonna share the screen with Rupert Everett ("My Best Friend's Wedding," "An Ideal Husband") and Benjamin Bratt ("Clear and Present Danger," "The River Wild"), will be in theatres next year.

Fans who had hoped to see Madonna on the small screen via her upcoming video collection will have to wait a bit longer than originally thought, as the release of "Madonna: The Video Collection 93-99" has been pushed back from mid-October to

November 2 (see [article id="1431573"]"Madonna Offers Up New Video Compilation"[/article]).
