Jaunuary 5 [14:00 EDT] -- Think you saw Luscious Jackson singing "Let It Snow" in a Gap commercial over the holidays, but you weren't sure?

MTV News had a chance to ask the band about falling into the Gap when they joined the Lilith Fair's Florida gig on December 16.

Bassist/vocalist Jill Cunniff explains, "Gap approached us to do a commercial, and they do non-I.D. spots, which means we played and nobody knows it's us... It creates something to gossip about.

Yeah, our friends were definitely like, "Oh my God!" guitarist/vocalist Gabby Glaser added. "People watch a lot of TV, obviously.

It's on there more than any of our other videos or anything ever was," Cunniff said. [article id="1447335"]"We each got some gift certificates for jeans and stretch pants, stuff like that..."

Luscious Jackson has also been on the big screen of late. The band's latest single, "Why Do I Lie," currently graces the "Good Will Hunting" soundtrack.
