Jennifer Lopez On Next LP, Juggling Careers

If singer and actress Jennifer Lopez appears to have kept a relatively low profile for the last few months, it's only because she's been busy working on no less than three movies.

Lopez, who hasn't been seen on the big screen since co-starring with George Clooney in the 1998 crime caper "Out Of Sight," has already finished two movies: a sci-fi thriller called "The Cell," due out on August 18, and a romantic comedy titled "The Wedding Planner," set for release on Feb 1, 2001.

Lopez is currently in Toronto shooting another movie, "Angel Eyes," and MTV News' Chris Connelly recently paid a visit to the set, where she talked about the success of her multi-platinum debut, "On The 6," and plans for the eventual follow-up.

[article id="1447251"]"I don't know if there was a point that [the success of 'On The 6'] ever sunk in,"[/article] Lopez said, [article id="1447251"]"and maybe [it] still hasn't. I'm already starting the next album,

and the other one really hasn't sunk in yet.[/article]

[article id="1447251"]"But I'm starting a new album now, and I'm really excited about it. I've got some great stuff that we're writing and doing right now. I'll be doing my first video [from the next album] probably some time in the next couple of months. But if I'm working on a movie, then I'll just have to take the weekend to do it."
