Live's Ed Kowalczyk Does Screen Time In "Fight Club"
It's too early to tell where Live's new album "The Distance To Here" will debut on the charts next week, though it's certain the band's own Ed Kowalczyk will be making a debut of a different kind -- on the silver screen.
Kowalczyk will be appearing in the upcoming film "Fight Club" which opens October 15 and stars Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham-Carter. Live fans will need to keep their eyes peeled for the chrome-domed singer, though, as his part, billed in the credits as "Waiter at Clifton's," is a brief one.
Rock fans can also be on the lookout for another singer who co-stars in the film: Meat Loaf, who has a somewhat beefier role than Kowalczyk. The Live singer needn't feel badly about his comparative lack of screen time, however, as Mr. Loaf has a lengthy movie resume: he's appeared in over fifteen films over the past two decades, including "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Wayne's World," and "Spice World.Live will be performing Wednesdaynight in Pensacola, Florida, while Meat Loaf will be performing in Portland, Maine.
