With a new wave of boy bands ruling the charts and winning the hearts of a new generation of teen girls, it should come as no surprise that at least one member of the old guard is making his return.

Former New Kid on the Block Joe McIntyre has a new album on the way, and a string of dates lined up to support it. Calling himself Joey this time around, McIntyre will release his first solo album in March of next year, but he is already creating advance buzz for his solo debut with his single "Stay The Same."

On the strength of the single, and the rest of McIntyre's independently produced album, Columbia Records came calling and will release the album on March 2.

The artist currently known as Joey will also hit the road early next year in hopes of getting even more people talking about his solo album. Here's where you can find the not-so-new kid:
