Jamiroquai Prepares To Get "Synkronized" With Album, Tour

Remember Jamiroquai?

It's been more than a year since Jay Kay and company ran roughshod over the MTV Video Music Awards, and two years since the release of their breakthrough album "Traveling Without Moving.

It appears though that the band is finally ready to follow up that effort with the release of "Synkronized" later this year. A spokesperson for the band's record label said that the album is expected to arrive on June 8 in the U.S., and June 7 in the U.K.

The group is also lining up a world tour that will launch in the U.K. on the same day the album arrives there. The band is expected to kick off the U.S. leg of its tour on July 4.

Synkronized" will mark the band's fourth album, and their first with new bassist Nick Fyffe. Original bassist Stuart Zender left the group in October of last year to spend more time with his wife, All Saints' Melanie Blatt (see [article id="1430495"]"Bassist Stuart Zender Leaves Jamiroquai"[/article]).
