Ja Rule, Memphis Bleek Drop "Killer" Single

Rapper Ja Rule recently completed the video for his next single, "Murda 4 Life," a track that includes guest vocals from Jay-Z's protege, Memphis Bleek.

The song appears on Ja's recently released debut album, "Venni Vetti Vecci," and will also turn up on Bleek's debut, "Coming Of Age," due on August 3. But according to Ja Rule, many of his peers weren't exactly feeling the song at first.

[article id="1446000"]"It was a hot beat to me and Bleek,"[/article] Ja said in an interview with the MTV Radio Network, [article id="1446000"]"and now everybody loves the record. When we first got the beat, everybody was kinda skeptical, like, 'Yo, what y'all gonna say to that? What are you gonna rhyme about?' And I'm like, 'Y'all wildin'. What do you mean, "How do you rhyme to...?" All right, watch. We'll get it done.' We just went in there and did it, man. And it came out hot." [RealAudio][/article]

Ja and Bleek also worked many long hours together as special

Ja Rule (who hails from Queens) also says that he and Bleek (a Brooklyn native) may eventually collaborate on another project together called BQE (Brooklyn-Queens Experience).
