Cube is preparing to release his next album, "War & Peace Volume 2: The Peace Disc," the follow-up to last year's "War & Peace Volume 1: The War Disc," on January 25. The album's first single will be "You Can Do It," a collaboration with Cube's Westside Connection bandmate, Mack 10. Also appearing on the album are Krayzie Bone, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Chris Rock and DJ Quik.

Another collaboration on Ice Cube's mind lately is one with his former bandmates in the seminal rap crew N.W.A. When we last asked about the possibility of a reunion, Cube said that he, MC Ren, and DJ Yella were interested in getting back together, while Dr. Dre was not; N.W.A.'s remaining member, Eazy-E, died in 1995 of complications due to AIDS (see [article id="1427153"]"Ice Cube Talks About Taking On The

In an interview on Thursday, however, Cube said that a reunion album might happen after all.

Me and Dre and Snoop and [MC] Ren has been talking about an N.W.A. album, so it's just talk now, but hopefully we'll find time to put it together," Cube told the MTV Radio Network. "I'm looking forward to it if we can do it. We're supposed to meet when I get back home in L.A.

Cube added that if the project does happen, it will probably come together next year. No word on what Snoop Dogg's involvement in the album would be, as he was not a member of the original group.

Meanwhile, you'll next be able to see Ice Cube in his upcoming film, "Next Friday," the sequel to 1995's "Friday." That album is scheduled to open in theaters on December 25 (see [article id="1430217"]"Ice Cube Talks 'Next Friday'"[/article]).
