Hole, L.L. Cool J Shoot Videos For "Any Given Sunday"

Hole leader Courtney Love went it alone (sort of) last week when shooting the video for her band's contribution to the "Any Given Sunday" soundtrack, a new cut titled "Be A Man.

Love was joined by a gang of football players and director Joseph Kahn at Los Angeles Coliseum for the shoot last week. The "Be A Man" video stuck close to the theme of the upcoming Oliver Stone-directed football flick, and found Love (sans her Hole bandmates) strutting her stuff on a rain-soaked gridiron.

But as for a report in gossip maven Liz Smith's "New York Post" column that Love wound up topless for a good chunk of the shoot, a spokesperson for Atlantic could not confirm the specifics of what took place on the set.

A fan site endorsed by Hole has posted an MP3 file of "Be A Man" as a preview of the "Any Given Sunday" soundtrack, due out on Atlantic Records early next year.

Rapper L.L. Cool J also recently

shot a video for "Shut 'Em Down," the track he kicks in for the soundtrack. L.L. hooked up with director David Meyers at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey to shoot the clip, which should arrive about the same time as the Hole video.

L.L. also appears in the film alongside Al Pacino, Jamie Foxx, and Cameron Diaz. The movie arrives on December 22, while the soundtrack hits stores on January 4 (see [article id="1428185"]"Eve, DMX, Kid Rock, Hole, Others On Board For 'Sunday'"[/article]).
