Goodie M.O.B. "Parties" With TLC, Kravitz; Hits Road With Outkast
After wowing critics and fans with its 1998 sophomore album, "Still Standing," the Goodie M.O.B. is preparing to release a new record, entitled "World Party," possibly as early as September.
Contributors to the new Goodie record include TLC, Lenny Kravitz, producer Dallas Austin, Organized Noize, and Outkast, among others.
Prior to the album's release, the M.O.B. will hit the road with fellow Atlanta natives and Dungeon Family members Outkast and openers Youngbloodz for a month-long tour, beginning today in Dallas.
"I don't feel like [there's anybody] in the music industry can mess with Outkast and Goodie M.O.B. in this phase," Goodie's Big Gipp told the MTV Radio Network about the outing. "I don't care about the records or the hits; I'm talking about what you give the people when you see them live. We give you what you pay for and most people selling a lot of records don't give you what you pay for."
Dates for the Outkast/Goodie M.O.B. tour:
