Goo Goo Dolls To Headline Tour

It seems that the road never ends for the Goo Goo Dolls. The pop rock trio is in the midst of a tour with Sugar Ray and Fastball, and they've already lined up their next outing.

Singer/guitarist Johnny Rzeznik tells the MTV Radio Network that the Goos will be headlining's first Music And Technology Tour in October and November. This is the second tour that that Web site has sponsored with major artists, the first being the Alanis Morissette/Tori Amos "5-1/2 Weeks Tour" (see "Alanis Morissette, Tori Amos Announce Dates For Joint Tour; Amos Preps New Double Album" and "Alanis Talks Tori; '5-1/2 Weeks' Tour Ready To Roll").

In between dates on their current tour, the Goos will be playing a Labor Day concert in Southern California for fan Brian Ahara, the Grand Prize winner of the VH1 Big Backyard Barbecue With The Goo Goo Dolls sweepstakes. The group will play for Ahara

and 100 of his closest friends at all-expenses paid barbecue.
