Ol' Dirty Has Strange Day In New York City Court
While not exactly known for his conventional demeanor, rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard exhibited some truly over-the-top behavior during a hearing at a Queens Criminal Court on Monday.
According to reports from the "New York Daily News" and local radio station 1010 WINS, Ol' Dirty Bastard made lewd comments to a female district attorney, ignored Judge Charles Heffernan, and even nodded off at one point during the proceedings.
Ol' Dirty, who is listed on court documents by his real name, Russell Jones, was in court to answer drug possession charges related to an arrest last year in which police found 20 vials of crack cocaine on him after being pulled over for a traffic violation (see [article id="1429421"]"O.D.B. Arrested In NYC On Drug, Driving Charges"[/article]).The case was adjourned until January 19, but during yesterday's hearing the paper indicated that O.D.B. apparently asked the female prosecutor if she found him horny before calling hera "sperm donor.
The rapper flew from Los Angeles to New York City for the hearing, as he is still enrolled at a drug rehabilitation program at the Impact House in Pasadena, California as part of a plea bargain for several West Coast incidents (see [article id="1429401"]"Ol' Dirty Bastard Gets One Year In Rehab For L.A.
