Wyclef Jean Taps Kelis For Collegiate Tour
With the recording future of the Fugees still in question, guitarist-vocalist Wyclef Jean has turned his attention towards his second album, "The Ecleftic," and another round of touring.
Wyclef will head out on the road in two weeks to play another round of college campuses and universities, beginning on March 22 at Savannah College in Savannah, Georgia. Opening for Jean will be 20-year-old newcomer Kelis, who has just issued "Get Along With You" as the second single from her debut album, "Kaleidoscope.
In addition to supporting Wyclef, Kelis also plans to mix in a few solo shows of her own in the next few months, including a two-night stand on April 23 and 24 in New York City.As for Wyclef, he's hoping to release "The Ecleftic," his follow-up to 1997's "Carnival" LP, later this year (see [article id="1429171"]"Wyclef Jean To Show 'Two Sides' Of His Story For Solo Album"[/article]).Here's where you can catch Wyclef Jean and Kelison their spring tour:
