Everclear Plans "Wonderful" Single

While Everclear's new album is not due out until July 11, the band has already chosen a first single and lined up a number of radio shows for the spring.

The band is currently in a Los Angeles studio putting the finishing touches on its next album, "Songs From An American Movie, Volume I - Learning How To Smile," the first of two CDs the band plans to release this year.

A song called "Wonderful" will hit the airwaves beginning May 22. Everclear frontman Art Alexakis also plans to direct the accompanying video for "Wonderful" in Los Angeles in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Everclear will be presumably performing some of its new material while it makes the rounds of a few select radio shows this spring, starting on April 29 in Dallas.

In June, the band plans to begin work on "Songs From An American Movie, Volume II - A Good Time For A Bad Attitude," planned for release later this year.
