Kelly Price, Faith Evans and Montell Jordan are among the R&B acts who have contributed to an upcoming CD called "In The Meantime-The Music That Tells The Story."

Produced as the companion album to inspirational author Iyanla Vanzant's 1998 book, "In The Meantime," the record will also feature Monifah, Maxi Priest, as well as contemporary Gospel artists Yolanda Adams and Howard Hewett.

Faith Evans, who contributes a song entitled "Right Back Where I Started," has said that she's thrilled to work with Vanzant, the award-winning author of other inspirational books like "Acts of Faith" and "The Value in the Valley."

"The fact that Iyanla is such an inspiration to so many people, let alone women, is really important to me," Evans said of the author. "From what I've read and in speaking with [Iyanla], we're on the same page. I was so totally interested in being involved just based on what I know about her."
