En Vogue Will Be Live On "Saturday Night"

May 14 [16:00 EST] -- En Vogue trumpet the upcoming release of its new album with an appearance on this week's "Saturday Night Live.

The soul outfit will return to the "SNL" soundstage that it graced back in 1992 when it was supporting "Funky Divas." The group's performance on the show this time around (with guest host Jeff Goldblum) comes as the release of "EV3" looms ahead on June 17.

As we reported in April, the group's performance will include the first single off of the act's new album, "Whatever," which was produced by Midas touch producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.

The group's performance will also feature En Vogue as a trio instead of the quartet that fans have come to know and love. Dawn Robinson left the group in April to pursue a solo career, leaving fellow Vogue-ers Maxine Jones, Terry Ellis, and Cindy Herron to carry on.

Robinson, who provided the lead voice for En Vogue recent top ten hit "Don't Let

Go," [215k sound file] signed on with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records, and should release her solo debut (produced by Dre) later this year.
