Bob Dylan, Paul Simon Set Dates For Joint Tour
Bob Dylan and Paul Simon, two of the most important singer-songwriters of the modern era, will share a stage this summer during an eight-week North American tour. The tour will kick off on June 6 in Colorado Springs, CO. This occasion marks the second time in recent memory that Dylan has hooked up with another seminal rock act for a string of live shows. Just last spring, Dylan performed a short stint of concerts along the East and West Coasts with Van Morrison and, for a few dates, Joni Mitchell. The joint venture with Dylan will mark Paul Simon's first major outing in seven years, dating back to the Born at the Right Time Tour in support of his last studio album, 1990's "Rhythm of the Saints." Simon may also be hoping to lick a few of the critical wounds he suffered when his highly touted Broadway musical, "The Capeman," closed after an abbreviated run last March.
