Def Leppard Launches South American Tour

April 2 [16:00 EST] — Def Leppard were in Monterrey, Mexico on Wednesday to launch a South American tour (“Photograph” live, QuickTime, 1.2 MB) that will see the band make thirteen stops before winding up in San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 27.

On Thursday, the band takes a break from the tour to challenge a team of fans in a soccer match. The Def Leppard followers fought their way through a tournament, thereby winning the right to take on the band.

After the brief sidebar, the band gets back on track in support of its most recent album, “Slang” (QuickTime, 1.2 MB). Here’s where the’ll be:
