SWV Collaboration With Snoop, Puffy, Foxy Pushed Back

June 20 [12:00 EDT] -- If you want to hear the fruits of SWV's collaborations with Snoop Doggy Dogg, Foxy Brown, Li'l Kim and others, you'll have to wait a bit longer.

A spokesperson for the group's label, RCA, said that the release date for SWV's next album, "Release Some Tension," has been pushed back two weeks to August 12.

[article id="1427210"]As we reported earlier this week[/article], the album will see the singers team with the aforementioned artists, as well as Puff Daddy, Redman, E-40, Li'l Ceasar of Junior M.A.F.I.A., and Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot. The album was originally scheduled to hit stores on July 29, but RCA says that more time is needed to work out the legal intricacies of having so many guest artists on the same album.

The group is still planning to hit the road with Keith Sweat, Brownstone, and others on the "Vibe" magazine-sponsored "Jamazon" tour. As we reported Wednesday, that tour kicks off July 24 in Tampa, Florida.
