Cher is making a surprising run on the charts these days, thanks in part to a new single, "Believe," which has already conquered the top of the U.K. charts and which currently stands at number 13 on this week's "Billboard" Hot 100.

The singer sat down recently with MTV News' Kurt Loder to talk about the album, as well as her new look -- and recounted a rather unlikely phone conversation she had with Marilyn Manson.
