Candlebox Continues Tour With Ugly Kid Joe Drummer

Almost a month after Dave Krusen walked out of Candlebox, the band is ready to continue its tour in support of its most recent release, "Happy Pills," having tapped Ugly Kid Joe drummer Shannon Larkin as an interim replacement.

As we previously reported (see [article id="1426862"]"Drummer Dave Krusen Leaves Candlebox"[/article]), Krusen abruptly departed from the band prior to rehearsals for the upcoming road dates, citing the desire to focus on his increasingly important home life and the impending birth of his second child.

The band had completed a high-profile opening stint for Aerosmith prior to the line-up change, and is now slated to kick-off its 1999 concert schedule on February 19 in the rather frosty climes of Missoula, Montana.
