To hear the singer tell it, there's a perfectly good explanation for her chameleon-like approach to wardrobe, and vanity has nothing to do with it.

I really hung 20 feet in the air, upside down, with my face facing the floor, and the camera was shooting up from the floor, and the room was also hanging 20 feet in the air," Brooks told MTV News. "So [article id="1440760"]when we would spin, we would have a crew spin the room, and then they would take me up and down in the harness. In order to do that effectively, I had to wear different clothes to cover the harness.
