Blink-182 Shoots Boy-Band Video, Prepares To Tour With Silverchair

What do you get when you cross the boy band phenomenon with power-pop punk? 'N Blync, of course.

Bad riddles aside, Blink-182 will be striking a boy band pose for their latest clip, "All The Small Things." As we previously reported, the video will see the Warped Tour vets goofing on those video cliches that some groups just can't seem to live without (see [article id="1426201"]"Blink-182 Spoofs Boy Bands With New Video"[/article]). According to Blink-182's Tom Delonge, the band has got The Look, so why not flaunt it?

[article id="1440206"]"We want to do a video that's like, directly like a boy band video,"[/article] Delonge told MTV News. [article id="1440206"]"Because we figure we're just as hot and we look good wet and we dance and we can fit in tight clothes just like everyone else, you know?" [RealVideo][/article]

Hopefully Blink-182's fans, regardless of their feelings for the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, or 98 Degrees,

will feel the same way.

Meanwhile, the band is about to kick off a tour with fellow cute-boys-with-loud-guitars Silverchair (see [article id="1426197"]"Blink-182 Plans Fall Tour With Silverchair"[/article]). Dates and venues for the jaunt have not yet been announced.

You can catch more on the Malibu Beach antics of Blink-182 and see the premiere of "All The Small Things" on MTV's "Making The Video" this Monday night at 10:30 p.m. (ET).
