Blink-182, No Doubt, Smash Mouth Featured On KROQ "Best Of"

'Tis almost the season for radio-sponsored concerts to start rocking and ringing in the holidays, and one of the biggest, the Almost Acoustic Christmas show sponsored by L.A. station KROQ, plans to celebrate its tenth year by releasing an album of some of its musical highlights.

The Best Of The KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, Vol. 1," due out on November 23, collects 12 previously unreleased live recordings from such artists as Blink-182, No Doubt, Bush, Live, Everlast, Radiohead, and Smash Mouth that have been taped at the event over the years.

Almost half of "Vol. 1" was taken from the 1998 Almost Acoustic concert, including songs from Hole and Garbage, while the Violent Femmes' "Blister In The Sun" from the 1993 show is as far back into the KROQ archives as "Vol. 1" goes.
