Next month you can watch Mary J. Blige and Brandy team up on the small screen, but it won't be in a new video.

Blige is heading to Los Angeles this weekend to tape the season premiere of Brandy's television series, "Moesha." The R&B queen will be playing herself on the show, which is scheduled to air on the UPN network on August 23.

The broadcast will come on the heels of the release of Blige's fourth studio album, "Mary." The new LP is due to drop on August 17 and will feature contributions from the likes of K-Ci, Nas, DMX, and Lauryn Hill, who wrote and produced the first single, "All That I Can Say.

Blige's last release was the 1998 live set "Tour.
