July 7 [18:00 EDT] -- The unstoppable one-man hit machine known as Kenneth "Babyface" Edmond has another title to add to his resume. The song writer, producer and performer can now call himself a film-maker, too.

Edmonds and his wife, Tracey, have started their own film production company, and recently finished co-producing their first film, a family drama called "Soul Food," which Tracey directed. Vanessa Williams and Viveca A. Fox star in the film, which will hit theaters in October.

While Tracey was directing the film, Babyface oversaw the first video for the "Soul Food" soundtrack -- a song called ³I Care About You,² which features members of Jodeci, along with Babyface¹s brothers, Melvin and Kevin Edmonds, of the group "After 7.

The lineup of guest performers on the "Soul Food" soundtrack also includes Puffy Combs, En Vogue, Dru Hill, and Boyz 2 Men.
