Amazing Crowns Reclaim "Royal" For Next LP
A court may have taken the "Royal" out the Amazing Crowns' name, but the band is stealing it back for its new album.
The band (which was forced to change its name from the Amazing Royal Crowns after the Royal Crown Revue took legal action) has dubbed its next effort "Royal" and will deliver the album, which is being produced by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' bassist Joe Gittleman, in September.The punkabilly outfit is currently trotting out some of its new material as part of this summer's Vans Warped Tour, and a spokesperson for the band reports that the new tracks "Halos Above Our Horns" and "Still Royal" are going over well.If you want to see how the band views the Warped experience, check out the tour diary that Crowns frontman Jason "King" Kendall is keeping in the Local area of mtv.com.If you want to get your own view of Warped, here's where to look:- 7/9 - Boise, ID @ Boise Center
