Allure Still Waiting To Meet Raekwon Despite Working Together

If you've heard Allure's work with Nas on the group's breakthrough single, "Head Over Heels," or tracks the group has done with L.L. Cool J, Mary J. Blige, and 112, then you know of the ladies' penchant for high-profile collaborators.

However, as the group individually known as Alia Davis, Lalisha McLean, Linnie Belcher and Akissa Mendez recently told our friends in the MTV Radio Network, such creative unions don't always mean that the group comes face to face with those who help them, as was the case when Allure hooked up with Wu-Tang's Raekwon for the track "Give You All I Got.

Well unfortunately, we didn't get to work with him in the studio," Linnie explained. "Every time we tried, our schedules would conflict, so we did our part one day, and he did his part another day.

And we're still trying to catch up with him to this day," Alia added. "We see him, like we'll have shows and by like two seconds we'll miss each other".

[article id="1438293"]"We'll see everyone else but him,"[/article] Linnie said. [article id="1438293"]"We saw Method Man, we saw Cappadonna, we never see Raekwon" [150k Audio][/article].

While you won't see him, you can still hear Raekwon Allure's self-titled debut album, the first from Mariah Carey's Crave Records, which is in stores now.
