YOUR FAVORITE MTV SHOWS ARE ON PARAMOUNT+

Christina Aguilera, 98 Degrees, LFO To Team With You?

If you've ever dreamed about opening a concert for Christina Aguilera, LFO, or 98 Degrees, then get your audition tapes in order, 'cause the Disney Channel could make that dream a reality.

The network that played a hand in helping launch the careers of Aguilera, Britney Spears, and 'N Sync's J.C. Chasez and Justin Timberlake is looking to pair established pop acts with local unknowns as part of its new TV series, "2 Hour Tour.

The premise for "2 Hour Tour" involves both a behind-the-scenes look at national tours from Aguilera, 98 Degrees, LFO, The Moffatts, and Nobody's Angel, as well as a glimpse at a local artist getting the chance to make or break a career by opening the show.

The first episode, featuring 98 Degrees, is scheduled to be taped on October 22 and 23, when the group rolls into Evansville, Indiana for a two-night stand at the Evansville Stadium with Vitamin C, No Authority, and a lucky local artist that's already been selected.

2 Hour Tour"

is currently planning episodes featuring Aguilera in either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, LFO in Orlando, The Moffatts in either Houston or Dallas, and Nobody's Angel in Los Angeles, among others.

Bands and acts from those areas interested in participating in the "2 Hour Tour" talent search are encouraged to send sample tapes, CDs and VHS tapes to: "2 Hour Tour," 2852 Pacific Coast Highway #749, Malibu, California, 90265, or call (310) 456-7860 for more information. (Please note that this is not a toll-free number.)

The first episode of "2 Hour Tour" will be shown as a monthly special next March before becoming a weekly show beginning in June.
