Bocelli's Sacred Arias Regains Top Spot

Also, the Philharmonia Orchestra come back at #12 with Beethoven's Fifth and Seventh Symphonies.

Tenor superstar Andrea Bocelli bounced back into the lead position on this week's Billboard Top Classical chart.

The soundtrack to the Disney movie "Fantasia 2000" had knocked Bocelli off the top spot for two weeks, but its brief reign has ended. The soundtrack also includes the perennial favorite The Sorcerers' Apprentice by Paul Dukas. The Appalachian Journey of Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer and Mark O'Connor holds to the third position.

Benjamin Zander with the Philharmonia Orchestra re-enters this week's classical charts at #12 performing Beethoven's Fifth and Seventh Symphonies. The disc includes a discussion by Zander on the performance of both symphonies and the Moonlight Sonata of Beethoven.
