R&B vocal group Boyz II Men, rappers DJ Quik, Trick Daddy, Pharoahe Monch and up-and-coming rock/R&B performer Kina have been added to the lineup for UrbanFest L.A. — a music festival set for Saturday and Sunday (June 24–25) on the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles.

Those artists join the list of previously announced performers, including Common, De la Soul, Talib Kweli, Ideal, Spragga Benz, Dwayne Wiggins, the Spooks and Avant, among others.

The festival, held in conjunction with the university's fourth annual Urban Focus Music Conference, is expected to draw as many as 12,000 concert-goers each day. Proceeds from the two shows will be split among several local charities, including Urban Focus Music Foundation, the Rhythm & Blues Foundation, the Temple of Hip-Hop Kulture and Music & Kids Inc.

Boyz II Men likely will premiere new material from their upcoming album, Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya, due Sept. 12. The record's first single "Pass You By," is the group's first since 1997's "Evolution." It will be released to radio July 11.
