About Wormhole Effect

Upon their 1996 self-titled first album, the Wormhole Effect hypnotic blend of tribal rhythms and traditional folk that rooted from Asian, Arabic and African influences was imported to the bands native of San Diego. Burnett Anderson (trumpet/ flugelhorn/ percussion), Marcos Fernandes (drums), Robert Montoya (percussion), Marcelo Radulovich (bass/ percussion/ vocals) and Don Story (guitar/ percussion) explored an improvisation of world beat as Accretions Records followed with Wormhole Effect's second album The Bastard of Musicians in 1997. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
