Witness (born John Parr) is an American rapper and hip hop producer from Morrisville, PA.

Witness started making music at the age of fifteen and has grown from a Morrisville, PA high school student aspiring to b-boy and emcee to an internet phenomenon with a rabidly loyal, international fanbase. Witness is the founder of a hip-hop and art collective known as Recollective initially conceived as a record label, it grew into a network of artists across the U.S., including the producer Emancipator. In 2008, Witness released ".45 Sweetheart", a free-to-download EP with Arizona producer Mob Robb to critical acclaim.
After moving to Minneapolis, MN, for unknown personal reasons in 2009, Witness has announced that he is in the process of working on his first full length record and preparing for a release on the Japanese label Rockwell Product Shop. In 2011, Witness appeared in a series of commercials for the new T-Mobile Sidekick 4G.
