Formed in 1990 in Canada, Vav Jungle originally consisted of musician Eve Rice (once of the '80s new wave girl band, Just Ducky which formed in Winnepeg in 1983), and Murray Toews. Murray left to pursue his B.F.A. in 1992 at the University of Manitoba, leaving Eve and a revolving door of guest members to carry on.That same year, sometime guest member and interpretive dancer Grace Martini joined full time.
