About U'nique Music
U'nique was born in Anchorage, Alaska and was raised in Longview, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina. It was in 5th grade where he received his first guitar and keyboard. The start of his musical journey involved playing the two instruments by ear. Eventually, moving on to playing the drums. As he got older he started to enjoy music more and started to hear certain parts of music that others could not point out. In the 8th grade, he began to produce his own music. Using an Alesis SR-16 drum machine and many samples, he created many beats for his schoolmates. When he moved to his new home in April of 2006, he started to use the popular DAW music software, FL Studio (Fruity Loops). Over time his music has increased, and his passion and love grew to new levels. It was in his High School where he started to take his passion on a more serious note.
It was there where he met upcoming artist and current wingman Drique London, who took him under his aid and started a new path together. After pushing with London, U'nique hit new found success. It was in 2010, when U'nique Music and Drique London paired up to form DOC Music Group. Both men endured on a new musical path that took their works to another level. He was able to gain more local exposure and he would soon find himself attending shows, interviews, photo shoots, and radio spots—a life which he could never have dreamed of in his earlier days. The Deaf Sound project is a Music Project by Drique London and U'nique Music. The project was U'nique Music's breakout in the music world and first real music release. It was a collection of real hip-hop songs about life & struggles described through Drique London's lyrics and U'nique Music's beats. The project was released on August 5, 2010. The duo would once again team up on 2012's Payton & Kemp
Now, U'nique hones his craft daily, and experiments with new techniques. Working with local and out of state artists.
