Rock & Roll
While at a less than glamorous job during the night, during the day he wrote, played, produced, and mixed his recordings at home. There are few albums if any in the current music scene that truly represent the artist like “It’s Tom Bomb Time!!!” If you are looking for some cocky rockstar’s diary you’ve come to the wrong place. This is an honest, sometimes humorous, and sometimes brutal resume of someone's relationship with the world around him. "It's Tom Bomb Time!!!" offers 10 original compositions. Whether it be the comedic rockabilly-themed "Drink Beer All Day", to the broken-hearted Orbisonian "Blue Over You", the mid 60's garage rock influenced "She's Breakin' My Heart Again, and the zydeco flavored "Cajun Song". And to think he wrote, sang, played, arranged, and produced the album using a cheap $50 recording software on a dying laptop. Living proof that Tom Bomb is the modern definition of what "indie" or "D.I.Y" truly is. Hailing from the "City Of Live Mermaids" (known on the map as Weeki Wachee, Florida), just like his influences, his music ranges from 40's Traditional Pop and 50's Rock N' Roll, to 60's Proto-Punk and the 70's Singer-Songwriter era. “...his music has a cool indie twist to it. If you are into Red Rock/Its or Cajun Dance Party...I think you will dig it...” as Introduce Yourself described it. NME also featured the song "Drink Beer All Day" on their website. "Many people have not only complemented the album, but the thing that really got me was that people were praising my voice as much as the songs", Tom Bomb says of his recent activities. "I was always insecure about my voice which is why it took so long for me to come out of my shell. Now that the shell is removed, the sky is the limit. The success of this has opened doors for a full national release for my next album. The next three years will be the most exciting of my life".
