About The Woodlands
The Woodlands are Hannah and Samuel, an indie folk-pop duo from Oregon. They craft songs of melancholy and mirth that conjure faraway lands and the longing of lovers. They also experiment with alt pop and electro elements as well, creating a unique combination of emotive, intimate and melodic songs and instrumentals.
The Woodlands have released 6 albums over the last 6 years, and are continuously writing and recording new songs. Samuel also three other projects. Mt. Mineral is an instrumental project that combines elements of electronic, electroacoustic, and electronic/symphonic genres. Quiet Arrows is an indie folk project with intimate males vocals and emotive arrangements. Sea Tongue is an experimental instrumental project for film and tv that combines acoustic and electro elements to produce a unique sound that is both quirky and emotive.
