Rival Consoles is an electro producer from England associated with Erased Tapes Records who made his acclaimed full-length album debut in 2009. Born Ryan Lee West on November 10, 1985, in Leicester, England, he made his Erased Tapes Records debut in 2007 as Aparatec with the Vemeer EP. Later in 2007 he made his debut as Rival Consoles on Erased Tapes Records with The Decadent EP. A couple years later he made his full-length album debut as Rival Consoles with IO (2009), which garnered substantial acclaim.
