Since August 5, 2013, Rich Crandall has been the head of the Wyoming Education Department.
Crandall was elected as a Republican member of the Arizona State Senate. He gave notice of resignation from the Arizona Legislature on August 20, 2013. Dave Farnsworth was selected to replace him, by the Maricopa County Precinct Committeemen of his district.
Crandall was born in Blanding, Utah. He holds a bachelors degree and a masters degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CPA and was the CFO from Crandall Corporate Dieticians. A Mormon he married to Patrice Crandall and has 7 children. Crandall was first elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2010. He serves on the board of directors of ChannelNet.
