"Don't take no for an answer" is the rule that Quick Kill Formula lives by. This New Jersey-based hard rock band is constructed of four members intent on making their mark on today's music scene. Formed in 1999, Q.K.F. has opened for national acts such as Clutch and Dragpipe. The band has performed in renowned venues such as CBGB's & Bowery Ballroom in New York City and the Meadowlands & Stone Pony in New Jersey. Quick Kill Formula are currently supporting their self-titled debut, which was recorded at The Hit Factory in New York City. The album was produced by Jason Corsaro (Danzig, Motorhead, Soulfly, etc. ) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Disturbed, Pantera, Slayer, etc.). Guitarist Dennis Kimak briefly played with Roadrunner recording artists The Step Kings before joining Quick Kill Formula. Dennis writes most of the signature riffs that make Q.K.F.'s songs so memorable. Vocalist Jason Filyaw connects with the fans with his emotional screams and melodic hooks. His lyrics are intensely personal, yet easily accessible, speaking to the universal truths inside us all. Drummer Todd Giblin's aggressive double-bass style creates a solid, fluid foundation for all the songs. Bassist Shawn Hendricks combines his love of hard rock with his interest in "experimental music" to provide supportive, distinctive bass lines. Quick Kill Formula's sound has been compared to Pantera, Corrosion Of Conformity, and Clutch, which goes hand in hand with their powerful live show. Each member of Q.K.F. contributes to the songwriting process and brings a wealth of talent and energy to the band. A blend of creativity and musicianship come together to form the hard driving style that you will not forget.
