Queensyze is a DJ and bass producer. She grew up in Toronto and fell in love with electronic music from the tender age of 13. She started going to rave parties and knew she had to learn how to DJ after she saw Mistress Barbara kill a set in Ottawa, Ontario. When Queensyze started DJ'ing she mixed with vinyl and released mixed tapes that she sold locally in downtown Toronto stores. She quickly grew as a staple in the Toronto scene and played at raves then started touring and headlining. She has been sponsored by clothing companies, has run a record label, has remixed tracks for the video game "Need for Speed" and has composed original music for film. As a DJ she has toured around North America and Mexico and played with drum and bass legends such as John B, Congo Natty, Reid Speed, Dylan and many other top players over the years. She has been billed on weekly's (in Toronto at the We'ave & Audiowerks) as well as played at the Miami Music Conference & festivals. Her tracks have been released on vinyl, CD and digitally and she also produces electro under the alias Supercycle with C((o))de Blue.
