On April 13, 2010, Lights Over Paris released their first EP, Turn Off the Lights EP on Digital Records/Type One Records. "Turn Off the Lights" was downloaded over 100,000 times on iTunes.
The music video for "Turn Off the Lights" was shot at various locations in Los Angeles. The video was premiered on Yahoo! Music MTV, VH1 and received over 1 million views on YouTube.
Sadly, their much anticipated album will most likely not be released.
With musical influences from AC/DC, and Lady Gaga to Blink 182 and Black Eyed Peas, Lights Over Paris is not limited to one particular genre. Their many influences include rock, pop, electro, and punk. The band harkens back to a late 90's punk rock mentality while looping around pop turns and dance rock twists, with the occasional hip-hop influence.
