Garry Jones (born 11 December 1950) is a retired footballer originally from Wythenshawe. In 1965, at the age of 15, he was known locally for playing for the Manchester Schoolboys.
Spending most of his career at Bolton Wanderers 1968-1975 playing 236 games and scoring 55 goals, also had spells at Sheffield United F.C,Los Angeles Aztecs,Blackpool F.C, Hereford United F.C., Runcorn F.C..
The highlight of his career came on the 5th October 1971 a hat-trick against a great Manchester City Team including Tommy Booth , Joe Corrigan , Francis Lee , Mike Summerbee giving Bolton Wanderers a deserved 3-0 win in the Football League Cup
