My name is Gary Bennett aka Garris'n, I was born at The Kingston Jubilee Hospital, while my mother resided at 14 1/4 Whitehall Ave In Kingston. I grew up at 1B Portland Rd Kingston 2 for 7 years until we moved to the Kingston 7 community of Hermitage. I lived in Hermitage from 1984 to 2006, from there i actualy moved to Poughkeepsie, New York. I currently live in Columbus Ohio where I work from my home recording studio.
I have been a Dancehall artist since 1993 but it was always a personal talent. I rarely go to the recording studio because i had other goals and aspirations. I would always write songs and practice my craft Knowing that one day will be my day.
I have release my first self produce album in August of 2012 and is currently finishing my second album. My song "Cold Blooded Warrior" is the first release from my second Album due to drop in April 2013. I dedicated this track to my Jamaican friend that was shot innocently in Reynoldsburg My upcoming album is mainly conscious uplifting music because i saw the need to go that way. I know that my listeners will enjoy and support my music because i have done my home work and is now set to Satisfy your music desire.
