Elaine Faye

Elaine Faye, is an up and coming soul shaker, groove maker and heart strings manipulator originally from Seattle Washington but currently based out of San Diego/Los Angeles California. Her music blends two parts soul, to one part pop, with a tea spoon of folk creating a unique and alternative take on southern California soul.

Elaine has spent the past several years developing her sound, performance and music which can now be heard on numerous local/ internet radio stations (including Kiss FM in NYC and Utica), now in the air if you happen to be flying Delta Airlines, and on TV (VH1's 2nd season premiere of Mob Wives, MTV's Jersey Shores, and KTLA morning news show). She the 2011 California Hard Rock battle of the bands winner, listed one of 2011 best unsigned bands to see live by Music Connection Magazine and is sponsored by MTV and Extreme Music's love child, Hype Music.

Constantly hitting the road with a high energy interactive show, Elaine and the band perform at an array of different locations, and has since had the opportunity to open for Lights, The Arkells, Katherine McPhee, Honey Honey, The Day Lights and Six Pence None the Richer (reunion show). Combining acoustic and full band performances Elaine is successfully building a strong buzz creating a continuously growing and dedicated fan base.

Elaine is a recent graduate of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, which she attended after being awarded one of three full ride scholarships given out after competing in a nationwide contest. Her first LP Matters Of The Heart was released in Spring 2010 and her forthcoming EP is set to be released late 2012.
