Brenna Red grew up in Stanton, a small city in Southern California. She started playing drums at the age of 12. She then went on to play drums in such all girl bands as Xentrix and Civet. Three years after being scouted to be Civet's first drummer and backup singer, Brenna moved on to from her own band, The Last Gang. While in the Last Gang, Brenna learned the power of her own voice. "I didn't talk for several years straight actually. I was an outcast simply because of my low voice. That's why I became a drummer." Through her band The Last Gang, Brenna met with photographer and makeup artist Fernando Guerrero and James Bryan. They worked together on a series of photographs for Arturo Vega's website for the official Ramones store (www.ramonesworld.com ) that feature Brenna Red as one of his models. Brenna had already established her place in the punk rock scene when Fiction Reform approached her to command the newly formed power house band. As a result of this per chance meeting, the band Fiction Reform has gone on to release a full length (Revelation In The Palms Of The Weak) on Basement Records and produced two music videos for "Small Silhouette" and "Whites In Their Eyes". While production for Fiction Reform's second record was under way Brenna went into the studio to record a couple tracks with Producer and label owner Chuck Dietrich for her single "L.A.E.P.".
