Every record of his has told a genuine story and now the screams of the underdogs are finally heard. We introduce you to the leader of the Skywalker pack Boome. Raised in Marietta, Ga 15 minutes north of Atlanta known to many as the music capital of the south. Boome has always had a passion for writing with literature being one of his favorite subjects. With his older brother being a passionate producer it was only a matter of time before those words found their way to music.
Life and the pursuit of happiness, Boome packed up his bags in 2004 after two years in college in Columbus, Ga and headed to Dallas, Tx to record his debut album and launch his music career. After releasing a couple projects Boome’s name started taking buzz to the streets, he quickly gained the respect of established Dallas rapper Big Tuck who was already signed to universal records. Boome and Tuck worked on a record called Coppin Whips which buzzed heavy all over the Dallas scene. Soon after he was finding his self in the studio collaborating with Lil Flip, opening up for B.O.B. Devin da Dude & many others.
Even though his music career started from street buzz it has grown to Boome headlining national tours and breaking amazing records. His music seems to be lightyears ahead from the present, with a very futuristic feel and political innuendos that spark the mind. Boome released Vanilla sky in March 2012 an album that would to start to take his career to the next level. The light bulbs started to finally turn on and people started paying attention when Boome released Jimy Hendrix which was a huge record. Jimy Hendrix the single caught the attention of many college stations, internet radio stations, hip hop blogs and most importantly the people. The record pays tribute to the great Jimy Hendrix it has a very heroic tune to it, and it definitely found a place in pop culture. With solid reputation Boome’s “Jimy Hendrix” broke VidDisc Top 30 Urban Charts peaking at the #20 spot.
He calls his next project “Space Jamz” his biggest accomplishment. Boome rocks an astronaut suit on the cover, which only leads us to believe that will be enjoying tunes out of this world. He has broken the limits of independent artistry, sky is not the limit for Boome for he has already started to grace the galaxy and beyond.
